Prof. Stephen W. Cheung
Honorary Chief Scientist, OASA; Former Adjunct Professor for MSc. programme in Space Science at the Department of Physics at HKU
Prof. Stephen W. Cheung is Honorary Chief Scientist of OASA.
Educated in the United States, Prof. Stephen W. Cheung began his career as a research scientist at a NASA funded Gravity Probe-B satellite programme at Stanford University. He later worked in two major medical device companies in the Silicon Valley specialising in radiation therapy systems. He holds several US patents related to X-rays and is the author of two books on microwave technology.
Prof. Cheung has previously worked in Hong Kong for 10 years. He was General Manager of the Electronics Division at the Hong Kong Productivity Council and later served as Executive Vice President of a consumer electronics company.
Prof. Cheung has served as Adjunct Professor for a MSc. programme in Space Science at the Department of Physics at HKU from 2020 to 2023.

Ms. Helen Lo
Director, Commercial at SUNeVision Holdings Ltd.
Helen Lo is the Director, Commercial of SUNeVision. She leads the Company’s overall commercial strategy of the data centre business in Hong Kong. She also spearheads investment, product and business development. She plays a critical role in driving data centre and connectivity services, subsea solutions, focusing on enriching the Company’s ecosystem and accelerating new initiatives to unlock business revenue and growth.
Helen joined SUNeVision in 2020 as the Head of Strategy. In this role, she steered the connectivity and subsea strategies within the Company, including investment and business development for the cable landing stations in Hong Kong.
Helen has established strong track record in the technology sector over the years. Before joining SUNeVision, Helen was a General Manager at Tencent. She has served various senior positions across strategy, product development and new business incubation within Tencent and its subsidiaries for over 10 years. Prior to Tencent, she was an Engagement Manager at Monitor Deloitte.
Helen is a passionate advocate for technology and sustainability, actively involved in community engagement and the promotion of data centre development initiatives. Helen holds an MBA degree from INSEAD.

Mr. Ivan Lee
Investor in decarbonization and disruptive technologies (CAIA, SCR)
Mr. Ivan Lee is a private equity investor specializing in energy transition investments. With expertise in sustainable technologies and decarbonization strategies, Ivan has played an integral role in structuring deals and financing initiatives, as well as investing in the next-gen innovations. He brings a strong focus on climate technologies and is dedicated to transitioning into a cleaner future.
With a professional background in sustainable investment, Ivan is also an enthusiast in space technology, which is also relevant to human sustainability in different aspects. He will be the Research Analyst for OASA SpaceBiz talk, providing valuable insights into the sub-sectors of the space economy while emphasizing its contribution to our future.

Mr. TJ Yen
Seasoned venture investor who’s passionate about space tech’s role in solving Earth's problems
TJ Yen is a seasoned venture investor, start-up adviser and business development operator, with a proven track record of identifying and nurturing high-potential investment opportunities.
He has invested in disruptive founders and companies spanning aerospace, food tech, enterprise SaaS and healthcare. TJ previously worked in various marketing, operational and business development roles for PwC, BlackRock, DLA Piper and several start-ups. TJ is currently the co-founder of a digital platform focused on tokenising and selling real world assets and businesses.
As a dedicated investor, TJ fosters strong relationships with stakeholders and provides valuable mentorship to entrepreneurs. He is passionate about driving innovation and creating lasting value through his investment activities. TJ holds degrees in accounting and public communications from the University of Technology Sydney.
In his spare time, TJ enjoys staying up-to-date on the latest trends in space technology, reading sci-fi novels, and gaming.

Mr. Simon Lee
Senior Director of FinTech, PropTech & Art-Tech, ASTRI
Simon Lee is a dynamic leader in the fields of FinTech, PropTech, and Art-Tech, currently serving as the Senior Director at the Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) in Hong Kong. With a rich background in business development and innovative technology solutions, Simon is instrumental in driving strategic growth and fostering cutting-edge advancements across multiple industries.
Simon's journey at ASTRI began in 2016, where he has progressively advanced through various leadership roles. As Senior Director, he also leads initiatives in technology sectors including Green Finance, ESG, AIGC and Education-Tech, focusing on creating value through innovative digital solutions. His role involves identifying emerging trends, developing sales strategies, and maintaining key client relationships, while also serving as a thought leader at public speaking events.
Prior to ASTRI, Simon honed his expertise at IBM and T-Systems in the UK as a pricing manager, handling complex global IT outsourcing deals. His versatile experience in strategic pricing and commercial management has been pivotal in transforming digital innovations and expanding ASTRI's footprint in the technology landscape.
Simon's ability to synthesize industry knowledge with practical solutions makes him a vital asset in the rapidly evolving tech landscape, consistently pushing the boundaries of innovation.

Prof. Gregg Li
Convenor of the International Council at OASA; Advisor to Our Hong Kong Foundation; Adjunct Professor at HKU and Advisor, Lab for Space Research, HKU
Prof. Li is the founding director of the Orion Astropreneur Space Academy (OASA), which aims to nurture future entrepreneurs. He is an experienced systems engineer and organisational and technology architect, having worked with leading companies and family businesses for over four decades.
As an organisational and technology troubleshooter, Prof. Li has shared his expertise as an Adjunct Professor at various universities, teaching on subjects like Applied Corporate Governance for Families, Management of Technologies and Transformation, and Space Entrepreneurship.
In addition to his academic roles, he has served on the boards of Cyberport, the Urban Renewal Authority, and the eBRAM International Online Dispute Resolution Centre. He has also advised the Lab for Space Research at HKU, Tech London Advocates, and the Asian American MultiTech Association, among others.
